WHISTLEBLOWING
Introduction to Whistleblowing
MEADLIGHT DRINKS SRL provides employees, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders in general (such as shareholders, members of management, supervisory, or control bodies) with the opportunity to report unlawful conduct pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, violations of national or EU regulations (Legislative Decree 24/2023), or breaches of company procedures, through a secure and confidential platform.
Purpose of the Platform
The aim of this tool is to prevent non-compliance and irregularities, while promoting the active involvement of stakeholders and the public in a shared effort against illegality and in favor of a culture of legality, responsibility, and transparency.
The Importance of Reporting
Those who work with or collaborate with the company may be able to detect anomalies or improper behavior that the company itself may not identify through regular control mechanisms. Well-founded reports, made in good faith and with a sense of responsibility, help the organization address risk situations and prevent actions contrary to the company’s Code of Ethics, such as fraud, corruption, or abuse.
Whistleblower Protection and Responsibilities
Reports must be detailed, truthful, and made in good faith. The whistleblower is protected from any form of retaliation or discrimination, in accordance with current legislation. During the verification process, reported individuals may be involved in the assessment procedure. However, no disciplinary or legal actions will be taken solely based on the report, unless there is concrete supporting evidence. Unfounded, malicious, or opportunistic reports will not be considered and may result in disciplinary or legal consequences for the whistleblower.
How to Submit a Report
By clicking the button at the bottom of the page, you can access the reporting platform. Submissions are received by a dedicated Whistleblowing Committee, which handles them confidentially and in full compliance with applicable laws. The identity of the whistleblower will never be disclosed without their consent. Any personal data provided will be processed in accordance with data protection regulations.
